Subject of the Conference (recommended themes of papers):
- Legal, political, social and economical determinants of the transformation of Judicial Systems;
- Constitutional principles of Judicial Systems;
- No-Positivistic approach in Judicial Systems;
- Guarantees of independence of Courts and Judges;
- Conditions for delivering of courts verdicts in reasonable time;
- Legal position of Ministers of Justice and their linkages to Prosecutors System;
- Influence of Council of Europes standards (e.g. case-law of the European Court of Human Rights) on Judicial Systems (CoEs Accession Procedure; Monitoring Procedure);
- Effectiveness of execution of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights;
- Influence of the European Union (pre-accession, after-accession periods) on Judicial Systems;
- Influence of the European Law on functioning of Judiciary.

15.00 - excursion in Legnica and Legnickie Pole (place of battle of Legnica);
17.00 - sitting of the Program Board of the International Centre of Law and Management;
19.00 - dinner.
10 April 2010 (Saturday):
9.00 - opening session of the Conference; inaugural papers;
11.00 - coffee break;
11.15 - first plenary session;
13.15 - lunch;
14.30 - second plenary session;
16.30 - coffee break;
16.45 - working groups;
19.30 - official dinner.
11 April 2010 (Sunday):
9.00 - third plenary session;
11.00 - coffee break;
11.15 - fourth plenary session (reports from the working groups);
12.45 - summing-up of the Conference.
Dates:
31 December 2009 - sending form of participation in the Conference (on readiness to present a paper ) to mailing addresses of the Secretary of the Conference and the Coordinator of the Conference;
31 January 2010 - participants will receive general information about the program of the Conference;
28 February 2010 - participants will pay a conference fee (450 zl; approx. 110 euro) on account of the School (fee covers: two days in hotel, accommodation, Conference materials, publication of paper);
30 May 2010 - participants will send papers prepared for publication (on Coordinators mailing address).
Formula of papers: approx. 15 pages (Times New Roman, 12, interline 1,5, footnotes in the lower part of the pages); papers other then in English language should include English Summary (approx. 1 page).
