Este encuentro se estructura en tres secciones: El tratado de Lisboa a la luz de la Jurisprudencia de los Tribunales Constitucionales, Desarrollando Lisboa y Avances en el futro constitucional, en las mismas participarán profesores de Derecho Constitucional de 20 prestigiosas universidades europeas. Así, participarán docentes de las Universidades de Paris, Berlín, Praga, Roma, Ámsterdam, Lisboa, Cracovia, Copenhague, Utrecht, Oxford, Génova, Oslo, Lausana, Varsovia, Berlín, Madrid, Jaén y Sevilla.
La Red Europea de Derecho Constitucional (ECLN) tiene por objeto facilitar, estimular y fomentar el interés creciente por el constitucionalismo europeo mediante el fortalecimiento de la comunicación y el intercambio de ideas con los socios académicos de los miembros o futuros miembros de la UE, los Estados Unidos de América y China. La Red surgió de la necesidad de un foro de debate sobre la constitucionalización de Europa.
