La importancia del sector porcino desde el punto de vista económico, estratégico y alimentario, justifica la necesidad de realizar un análisis continuado y meticuloso de las magnitudes e indicadores sectoriales más relevantes. A pesar del incremento exponencial del sector porcino español a lo largo de los últimos años, los últimos meses se han producido una serie de noticias y eventos que sitúan al sector en un momento histórico, lleno de incertidumbres, que justifican, más si cabe, la necesidad de mantener y reforzar un seguimiento continuado de las magnitudes sectoriales.

The importance of the pork sector from an economic, strategic and feeding point of view, justifies the need to perform a continuous and meticulous analysis of the most relevant magnitudes and sectoral indicators. Despite the exponential increase of the Spanish pigmeat sector in recent years, last months a series of news and events place the sector in a historic moment, full of uncertainties, which justify the need to maintain and strengthen continuous monitoring of sectoral magnitudes.
