The creation of human embryos for research purposes. Constitutional fundamentals for your authorization - Juan Manuel Martín Guerrero

El trabajo pretende ofrecer una visión sobre la polémica que rodea la constitución de embriones humanos para fines de investigación. Se analiza tanto la jurisprudencia constitucional que se ha pronunciado sobre los valores asociados a este tipo de organismos como la legislación que se ocupa de regular las técnicas que los utilizan como objeto de laboratorio. Ello, se pone en relación con el derecho a la investigación científica con el propósito de ofrecer algunos criterios a considerar para fundamentar la autorización del recurso a esta técnica.

The article offer a view on the controversy surrounding the creation of human embryos for research purposes. It analyzes both the constitutional jurisprudence that has pronounced on the values associated with this type of organisms and the legislation that regulates the techniques that use them as a laboratory object. This is related to the right to scientific research with the objetive of offering some grounds to justify the authorization of the use of these techniques.
