La protección civil tiene una dimensión internacional y europea. Concretamente las instituciones de la UE han adoptado diferentes instrumentos normativos con el objetivo de generar una eficiente y sostenida cooperación en el campo de la protección civil. En este artículo estudiamos dos importantes y recientes decisiones del Consejo, del Parlamento y de la Comisión con las que se ha consolidado y mejorado el Mecanismo de protección civil de la Unión.

The civil protection has an international and European dimension. Concretely the institutions of the EU have adopted different normative instruments with the aim to generate an efficient and sustainable cooperation in the field of the civil protection. In this article we study two important and recent decisions of the Council, of the Parliament and of the Commission with which there has been consolidated and improved the Civil Protection Mechanism of the Union.
