La sentencia que se comenta analiza varias cuestiones de interés: a) La citación por correo certificado y las consecuencias que se derivan de la imposibilidad de localizar al demandado en el domicilio facilitado por el demandante; b) El deber de diligencia del tribunal en la averiguación del domicilio del demandado; y, en tercer lugar, c) Cuándo y en qué supuestos el tribunal puede recurrir a la citación edictal sin vulnerar el derecho a la tutela judicial efectiva del demandado.
