El presente trabajo pretende dar a los especialistas en materia de Seguridad Social una visión general sobre las novedades jurisprudenciales en la materia introducidas por la Sala de lo Social del Tribunal Supremo durante el segundo semestre de 2008. Desde esta perspectiva se analizan tanto las cuestiones generales en materia de Seguridad Social como aquellas decisiones que han afectado a la interpretación del régimen jurídico aplicable a cada una de las prestaciones de Seguridad Social.

This study intends to bring to the specialists on Social Security Law a general view on the most relevant Court Judgements on the matter that were stated by the Social Chamber of the Supreme Court during the second semester of 2008. According to it the study analyses the interpretation on the General Questions regarding Social Security Law as well as the Judgements that affects the interpretation on the regulations regarding each of the employment benefits.
