The ecclesiastical benefits of the county of Cabra and the claim of Royal patronage - Antonio Serrano Peña

Se ha intentado presentar una imagen general, pero al mismo tiempo representativa, de los beneficios eclesiásticos concedidos por diferentes bulas y breves papales al condado de Cabra principalmente desde el siglo XVI hasta prácticamente el siglo XIX, mostrando algunas de las controversias surgidas en caso de algún nombramiento entre el noble y el obispado de Córdoba, así como la reivindicación final por parte del Patronato Real de todos ellos para su incorporación a la Corona, llevándose a cabo un análisis del expediente formado y de las alegaciones de las partes.

An attempt has been made to present a general, but at the same time representative, picture of the ecclesiastical benefits granted by different papal bulls and briefs to the county of Cabra mainly from the 16th century until practically the 19th century, showing some of the controversies that arose in the event of any appointment between the nobleman and the bishopric of Córdoba, as well as the final claim by the Royal Patronage of all of them for their incorporation into the Crown, carrying out an analysis of the formed file and the allegations of the parties.
