El trabajo analiza el papel que la responsabilidad social tiene en las administraciones públicas, en contraste con lo que supone en el ámbito empresarial, pero admitiendo una funcionalidad sustancial. Pretende destacar que conecta, de forma natural, con el buen gobierno en el sector público, y forma parte del sistema de integridad institucional de la administración pública.
