Tenure track and job insecurity for researchers. Scientific research in the 2030 agenda and the sustainable development goals - Inmaculada Marín Alonso

Este estudio tiene como objetivo principal poner de relieve la situación de la investigación y del personal investigador en nuestro país analizando las políticas de investigación implementadas para hacer efectivo el derecho humano a la ciencia reconocido en varios instrumentos jurídicos internacionales. El sistema de acceso a la investigación y la situación laboral de los investigadores, en particular, su estabilidad o precariedad en el empleo y la valoración de sus condiciones de trabajo sirven de termómetro para valorar la consecución de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible establecidos por Naciones Unidas, en particular el Objetivo número 8 sobre trabajo decente en relación, además, con el Objetivo 16 que prevé la creación de instituciones eficaces y transparentes en todos los niveles para alcanzar la Paz, la Justicia e Instituciones Sólidas.

The main objective of this study is to highlight the situation of research and research personnel in our country by analysing the research policies implemented to make the human right to science recognised in various international legal instruments effective. The system of access to research and the employment situation of researchers, in particular, their stability or precariousness in employment and the assessment of their working conditions serve as a thermometer to assess the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals established by the United Nations, in particular Goal 8 on decent work in relation, in addition, to Goal 16 which provides for the creation of effective and transparent institutions at all levels to achieve Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.
