En este trabajo se analiza el Estatuto del Personal Investigador Predoctoral en Formación recientemente aprobado, comparándolo con su predecesor para destacar las novedades más importantes y subrayando las reivindicaciones que no han sido incorporadas. Partiendo de una breve contextualización de lo que significa la figura del investigador predoctoral y cuál ha sido la evolución de su naturaleza jurídica, en la primera parte se presenta la estructura de la norma y las cuestiones que se suscitan en torno a su entrada en vigor y los derechos y deberes específicos de investigación del investigador en formación. La segunda parte se dedica a examinar las diferentes condiciones laborales que han sufrido modificaciones. Entre las más interesantes destacan las cuestiones salariales y el de la falta de reconocimiento expreso del derecho a la indemnización por fin de contrato.

This paper analyzes the recently approved Statute of Predoctoral Research Personnel in Training, comparing it with its predecessor to highlight the most important changes and highlighting the claims that have not been incorporated. Starting from a brief contextualization of what the predoctoral researcher's figure means and what has been the evolution of its juridical nature, in the first part we present the structure of the norm and the questions that arise around its entry into force, as well as the specific research rights and duties of the researcher in training. The second part is dedicated to examine the different working conditions that have undergone modifications. Among the most interesting are the salary issues and the lack of express recognition of the right to be compensated at the end of the contract.
