La modernización de los diferentes sectores de una sociedad es consustancial a la propia evolución y desarrollo de la misma, pues según se avanza hacia sociedades cada vez más modernas tecnológicamente sus instituciones y/o órganos también requieren de una puesta al día. El uso de las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación en la Justicia afecta a la figura de los/las Procuradores/as especialmente, pues ante las nuevas exigencias, no sólo nacionales sino también europeas, su status va a cambiar y sus funciones se van a ver ampliadas dentro de la era digital. Este trabajo analiza los efectos de la globalización digital sobre el ejercicio de la Procura dentro del sistema judicial español, como elemento clave en la garantía del derecho a un proceso sin dilaciones indebidas, dado que se configura como el impulsor clave del engranaje judicial.

El/la procurador/a virtual: nuevas competencias, nuevas responsabilidades. 2. Desaparición del/la procurador/a como consecuencia de las Tic en el ejercicio de la profesión. V. A MODO DE CONCLUSIÓN.

The modernization of the different sectors of a society is inherent to the evolution and development of the same, because as it advances towards increasingly modern technologically societies, their institutions and/or bodies also require an update. The use of Information and Communication Technologies in Justice affects the figure of the Prosecutors, especially, as new demands not only national but also European, their status is going to change, and their functions will be expanded in the digital era. This paper analyzes the effects of digital globalization on the exercise of the search within the Spanish judicial system, as a key element in guaranteeing the right to a process without undue delay, given that it is configured as the key driver of the judicial mechanism.
