(RI §413443)
Eurojust: an effective instrument to fight against transnational organized crime?

Eurojust is the European Union Judicial Cooperation Unit established in 2002 with the main objectives of supporting the national authorities of the EU Member States in the cooperation and coordination of transnational investigations and prosecutions against serious crime. One of its current challenges will be to figure out if Eurojust could turn its role into a prosecuting one as the germ of the idea of the future European Public Prosecutor. Spain should improve its number of tactical and coordination meetings at Eurojust since the organized crime in this country has increased in the last years.
