El Dictamen de la Corte Internacional de Justicia con relación a la Declaración de Independencia de Kosovo de 22 de julio de 2010, pareciera haber dado respuesta al interrogante abierto acerca de la legitimidad de la misma. En el análisis de las cuestiones jurídicas abordadas por la Corte, se revelan aspectos que no fueron incluidos en el dictamen y que son trascendentales para definir el futuro estatus de Kosovo.

The Advisory Opinion of the International Court of Justice in relation to the Declaration of Independence of Kosovo (July 22th, 2010) seems to have responded to the open question about its legitimacy. However, the analysis of the legal issues addressed by the Court, reveals aspects that were not included in the Advisory Opinion which are relevant for defining the future status of Kosovo.
