The main directions of development of the legal institution of freedom of conscience and religion in Russia at the present stage. - Ekaterina Lagoda

En este artículo la autora, con base en un análisis de la legislación vigente en Rusia sobre la libertad de conciencia y de la religión, determina las tendencias y las particularidades que afectan la situación fáctica de la institución jurídica de la libertad de conciencia y religión y de su desarrollo ulterior. En este trabajo se aportan los enfoques básicos para la comprensión teórica, una visión general de la consolidación legislativa de la institución jurídica. Se examina la relación entre la legislación nacional y el derecho internacional en el ámbito de la libertad de conciencia y de religión. Se estudian los cambios en la política estatal-confesional en la Federación de Rusia.

In this article the author on the base of analyzing current Russian legislation on freedom of conscience and religion identifies trends and peculiarities which are affecting the actual state of the legal institution and its further development. The article deals with the basic approaches to the theoretical understanding; it contains an overview of legislative consolidation of the legal institution. It is mentioned about the correlation between the national legislation with standards of international law in the sphere of freedom of conscience and religion. Are examined the changes in state-religious policy in contemporary Russian Federation.
