The bicentenary of Mariano José de Larra - Antonio Arroyo Almaraz

En este artículo, escrito en el contexto de la celebración del bicentenario del nacimiento de Mariano José de Larra, pretendemos destacar la trascendencia del ser literario que fue el escritor, además de recordar parte de su bio-bibliografía y su proyecto político en torno a Ávila. Por otro lado, pretendemos igualmente recuperar la visión de Larra realizada por un gran admirador de su obra, Azorín, en quien dejó una clara huella.

In this article written in the context of the celebration of the bicentenary of Mariano Jose de Larra's birth, we try to emphasize the transcendency of the literary being who was the writer, besides remembering his bio-bibliography and his political project concerning Avila. On the other hand, we also try to recover Azorin’s vision of Larra’s work. Azorín was a devout admirer of Larra’s work and was greatly inspired by him.
