El presente estudio tiene por objeto establecer la gran influencia que la regulación jurídica de los abogados en el Derecho romano tuvo sobre la realizada por Alfonso X el Sabio en la Partida 3, título 6, en aspectos como defensa de los intereses del cliente, principios deontológicos, honorarios, requisitos para el ejercicio de la abogacía y sanciones.
The purpose of the present investigation is to point out the great influence that the juridical regulations of the lawyer in Roman Law had on that laid down by Alfonso X the Wise in his book 3, title 6 related to the defense of the client`s interests, deontological principles, fees, requirements for the practice of lawyer and sanctions.
