INTRODUCCIÓN.- I. EL MERCADO INTERIOR DE LA ENERGÍA ELÉCTRICA, LAS DISPOSICIONES DEL TRATADO CE.- II. LA DIRECTIVA 2003/54/CE SOBRE NORMAS COMUNES PARA EL MERCADO INTERIOR DE LA ELECTRICIDAD Y EL REGLAMENTO 1228/2003/CE SOBRE EL ACCESO A LA RED PARA EL COMERCIO TRANSFRONTERIZO DE ELECTRICIDAD.- III. Directive 2005/89/EC on Safety Measures for Electric Energy Supply and Infrastructures Investment are important targets which will reinforce the objectives of free and competitive internal market of Electricity provided by Directive 2003/54 /EC and other EC Regulations. This recent Directive will not come into force until February 2008 but it is really necessary that Member States fullfil soon their obligations to ensure Electric Supply in their national markets watching for the sufficient generating capacity of Electric plants when demand of Energy grows suddenly higher, and for an increase of the synchronized interconnections of the Mains between neighbouring Member States in order to avoid any new Electric Energy blackout (as Italy in 2003, Germany and France in 2006 or Spain last July).
