El estudio de Derecho Comparado sigue siendo de actualidad y así teniendo lugar la comparación entre los distintos sistemas legales nacionales, aún evidente la influencia del Derecho de la Unión Europea con su cometido de llevar a cabo la aproximación legislativa. Se pretende por ello realizar la revisión de esta tarea procediendo a un estudio de caso, cual es el estudio del Derecho Escandinavo en particular y su reflexión si cabe su adscripción como tradición jurídica independiente frente a las clásicas familias del Civil Law y Common Law. Por último y en un intento de despejar esta misma incógnita, se parte del estudio de la perspectiva procesal penal y así en concreto del proceso penal sueco como ejemplo dentro de tal Derecho Escandinavo para así determinar su adscripción (o no) a los modelos procesales penales hoy existentes.

The study of comparative law continues to be current and the comparison between different national legal systems continues to be carried out, although the influence of European Union law with its task of bringing about the approximation of legislations is still evident. The aim is therefore to review this task by means of a case study, which is the study of Scandinavian law in particular and its reflection on whether it can be classified as an independent legal tradition as opposed to the classic families of Civil Law and Common Law. Finally, and in an attempt to clear up this same mystery, we start with the study of the criminal procedural perspective, specifically the Swedish criminal process as an example within Scandinavian law, in order to determine whether or not it belongs (or not) to the criminal procedural models existing today.
