El artículo analiza algunos problemas jurídicos relacionados con los Dolomitas. Tras una primera descripción de qué son los Dolomitas desde el punto de vista naturalístico, el artículo procede a explorar los aspectos jurídicos. En la primera parte, titulada “senderos transitados”, se revisan los temas más explorados por la doctrina, con especial referencia a algunos institutos relacionados con la propiedad y la gestión del territorio, las minorías lingüísticas y (más recientemente) las cuestiones ambientales en relación específica con el cambio climático. En la segunda parte, en cambio, se analizarán los “nuevos senderos”, con referencia a la colocación de símbolos religiosos y artísticos en las montañas dolomíticas: un tema menos explorado por la doctrina.

The article explores various legal issues concerning the Dolomites. It begins with an introduction offering a naturalistic overview of the Dolomites before delving into their legal dimensions. The first section, titled “Well-Trodden Paths”, examines well-established topics in legal scholarship, focusing on land ownership and management, the rights of linguistic minorities, and, more recently, environmental concerns, particularly in the context of climate change. The second section, “New Trails”, shifts attention to the placement of religious and artistic symbols on the Dolomite mountains—a subject that has received relatively little attention in legal studies.
